This site is a tribute to Anne Fraine, who was born in Manchester on November 23, 1942. Dear wife of Peter, mum to Andrea, David and Lindsey and sister of Barbara, mother in law to Tim and Annette, wonderful nanny to Jack, Ben, Esme, Harry, Ruby, Toby and Gracey and aunty to Louise, Catherine and Natalie. She is very loved and missed by all her family and friends and will always be in our hearts.
Sadly, Anne was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away peacefully, surrounded by Peter and her children on Wednesday 8th September 2021. It was a huge shock to us all but we are determined to carry on her in her footsteps, thinking of her wonderful happiness and kindness to others always.
Maggie's Centres are a charity based next to NHS hospital sites and set up to provide support and guidance for those undergoing treatment for cancer, and their families. They are currently supporting Anne's niece, who has also raised a phenomenal amount of money for them. We know that Anne would have wanted us to support this and so it seems a wonderful tribute to her. All money raised will go to the Manchester centre.
Thank you so much for your support x
